About

Bobby Brader is an LA-based Composer, Orchestrator, Pianist and Music Director. He has been fortunate enough to assist prolific Composer/Orchestrators: Tim Davies (Trollhunters-composer, Frozen-lead orchestrator, conductor) and Jeremy Levy (Godless-lead orchestrator, Ant-Man-orchestrator) on a number of projects including: Trolls, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Marvel’s Spider-Man (Game for PS4), Godless (Netflix series) and music arrangements for legendary rapper Common with the National Symphony Orchestra. Michael Orland, one of the Music Directors of American Idol, brought Bobby onboard during the (original) show’s final season for a bit of Music Preparation. Bobby has composed scores for many short films, and two feature-length films: Dead List and Wild Boar, both of which will be released in early 2018. Most recently he composed the score for an animated short, Mr. Wiezel Goes To Washington, directed by comedy icon Pauly Shore (Son In Law, Encino Man-actor).

bio-teaching-icon Teaching

I’ve been a professional Music Instructor since 2008, when I began holding a private piano studio in Sarasota, Florida. I eventually maintained approximately 50 private students per week. Although my family and I moved to the opposite coast of the country in 2014, I still teach a fair number of students from Florida, via Skype. Since the Fall Semester of 2015 I’ve been a Pianist, Music Director, Piano Teacher and Vocal Coach at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), located next to the iconic Capitol Records building, in the heart of Hollywood, CA.
