::: biography :::

Bobby's
musical career began by accident when a scheduling error during
his 8th grade year of middle school placed him in advanced
concert band. Unable to switch from this class that was far
out of his league, he stuck with it, and began playing last-chair
trumpet. Bobby had never studied music nor played an instrument
in his life, yet teaching himself how to play the trumpet,
French horn, trombone, baritone, and tuba within the next
couple years seemed to be no difficult task for the young
prodigy. Midway through his freshman year of high school,
another fateful mistake arrived when Bobby's grandparents
bought his younger sister, Jenna, her very own piano; however,
she had very little success with the instrument.
In
secret from his family, Bobby was practicing everyday after
school when he had the house to himself. "It was the
one thing I truly looked forward to for relaxation after
a
long, tiring day at school," Brader quotes. His secret
was finally revealed one night when he challenged his sister's
playing. She asked him if he could do better, and to everyones
surprise, found that he definitely could when he played a
Mozart sonata before their eyes. He was entirely self-taught
until he began taking lessons in college. He enjoyed playing
mostly Mozart and Beethoven for a while until Brader found
that
he had
an uncanny
ability
to
create
his own compositions. Since this time, Bobby has been composing
non-stop for piano, as well as a variety of other instruments.
In April 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts in
Music degree from Florida State University. He plans to travel
as much as possible, and devote himself to writing music
for the rest of his life. Brader sums it up best with his
quote,
"There shall never exist a pleasure greater to me than
the emotional rewards of the art in which I create."
"The way I see it, there exists
only two rules of music:
#1 - listen through your mind
#2 - play through your heart".
